An arranged one night stand may be just the answer for two busy professionals who have no time or desire to date. Magdelena, a 30-year-old Latina, has no man and no prospects of a man in sight. The scientist and self-declared nerd has the perfect gift in mind for her 30th birthday though to help remedy that problem. She’s going to live out her fantasy, and star in her own version of the movie, Sixteen Candles, where she finally gets the chance to be with the guy she adored in high school. If she can’t have him for a lifetime, then at least she can have this one night.
Will, the sexy guy from high school, and Magdelena were supposed to reconnect at their 10-year class reunion after chatting online for some time, but the plans fell through. Now, with some help from her best friend, Magdelena plans to finally have the one night she always wished for with Will.
There are times when you read a novella and you feel that because it’s short it doesn’t satisfy you as a reader. The author can leave you with promises of finishing the story in another book or undeveloped characters. Sabrina Sol does neither of those things as she paints a clear picture of who both Elena and Will are as characters and how these two acclaimed professionals end up settling for a one night stand instead of searching for committed relationships.
The love scenes in this book are sensual, sexy, and very descriptive without being over-the-top. The reader will find themselves cheering for Elena to finally get her man while being able to still feel satisfied if she only gets this one night. If you’re looking for a quick and hot, but satisfying read, then this is the story for you.

Laurel Cremant is an opinionated author and reader of romance with a wicked sense of humor. RNIC was smart (or crazy) to bring her on as a blogger. In 2016 she took over the management of this site and relishes her new title of “Overlord of Awesome”
