Join RNIC in welcoming author Jeane’ Sashi to the site! Jeane’ is introducing us to her novel, Intimate Moments and doing a giveaway, but first, let’s get to know her.
Jeane’ what types of books are on your bookshelf at home?
Our bookshelves are loaded with books from various genres. I read motivational, romance, suspense, paranormal, and crime novels.
What type of music do you listen to?
I listen to Jazz, R&B, and Classical. Music relaxes me while I’m writing, and when I want to de-stress. I have fun dancing to music like no one is watching. That’s one of my fun-times.
What are your favorite types of movies to watch?
As I don’t go to the movies often, but when I do, I like movies that are action packed, drama movies, and love story movies. Basically, I like movies that keep me on the edge of my seat.
When is your favorite time of the day to make love?
There is really no favorite time of the day that I like to make love, I go with the flow and whenever or whenever the mood or moment arises, that’s my time.
What flowers would be in your ideal bouquet?
I love the smell of gardenias. To have a bouquet full of gardenias mixed with African violets, I believe would be the most beautiful bouquet.
What is your dream car and why?
Any car with a chauffeur would be my dream car, I don’t like to drive. But, in all seriousness, I love the Maybach Landulet. That is my ultimate car.
Describe your dream date.
My dream date is a date to Disneyland. This is where I believe you may be able to see the real person. At Disneyland, you are able to be a big kid, let your hair down (so to speak) and have fun. No bars held.
Which TV show(s) can you absolutely not miss every week?
Shark Tank is a show that I look forward to seeing every Friday night. If I’m not going to be home I would DVR the show to watch later. I learn a lot about business from watching that show and listening to the Sharks give advice.
Yes or no: Does size matter?
There is a misconception that size matters. Wrong. A man can be well endowed and not know how to use it, as where a man can be not that endowed and can rock your head into the bed headboard. So, size does not matter.
How do you celebrate each book release?
I celebrate by crying once I received the paperback copy from my publisher. That tells me I did it. I actually wrote, finished and published the book.
Blurb – Intimate Moments
Trying to find love was not easy, especially when you’re a successful, attractive lady in your thirties who was looking for a relationship of sustenance.
Excerpt – Intimate Moments
She rounded the corner of her home and pulled up to her house she noticed there were flowers at her front door.
Curiosity really had her this time. When she entered her garage, and let the garage door down, she retrieved the box from the back seat and entered her house she put the box on the sofa in the living room and went to the front door to pick up the flowers. There was a short note with the flowers, “Can’t wait to see you tomorrow.” The card was unsigned. “Is this Reggie being anonymous? He’s prone to doing things like this.”
Tonju turned around to go back in the house and put the flowers on her cherry wood and glass coffee table she sat on the sofa and opened the box, shocked at its contents. In the box was the most beautiful lavender and teal evening dress…not too formal but just right for tomorrow night’s party.
The dress was V-neck down the front with a scoop shawl in the back down to her lower back. “I’ve got to try this on to see how it looks on, it’s gorgeous.”
Tonju ran up the stairs to her bedroom to try the dress on and looked at herself in her floor length mirror. Tonju almost tripped on a stair but caught her balance. She was excited as she looked at herself in the mirror, “How did I miss this dress at Loehman’s? It’s not in their catalogue.”
She zipped the dress up on the side, “WOW! This dress is gorgeous. The silver detail is exquisite it really brings out the lavender and teal in the dress. Look at the scoop shawl in the back it goes down to the top of my butt. The V-in front hit’s the beginning of my rib cage and it has just the right amount of tightness…not too tight and not too loose…form fitting. All my curves are showing in this thing. Oh my goodness. Who did this come from? There are shoes and a purse in the box. Oooo! The shoes really set it off they match the dress to a tee being the same colors. Okay, this ensemble had to come from Reggie. Here’s the card, ‘I want this night of yours to be perfect.’ This had to come from Reggie.” Off went the shoes and dress and laid them across the lounge chair in her bedroom. I have my outfit for tomorrow. I’d been so busy that I had forgotten to go shopping.”
