Melody Sinclair is no stranger to the finer things in life as she grew up in high society. She’s never had to defend herself to others; that was a job for her big brother, Allen. Her eyes and heart had been fixated on Ruiz until self-righteousness caused her to make a bad decision and lose the man she once called her soul mate.
Ruiz Albury is sexy but dangerous after being affiliated with one of Argentina’s notorious gangs. His sister-in-law, Loraine, describes him perfectly when a neurotic psychopath from Her Venice Affair reemerged; “what makes him so dark, broody, and sexy”. Ruiz never wanted any of his family members to witness the beast that lurks within, but when his daughter’s life is threatened the room is left in awe with no judgment.
His Paris Affair is filled with laughter, betrayal, and deception. Melody’s character was a tad bit annoying with all the whining and crying until Ruiz was caught with Cheri, the hotel’s play toy. She popped right out of the hopelessness she was feeling and dragged the female out of the room by her hair.
Out of all the siblings, Ruiz’s upbringing was far worse; their Father rejected all of them but Ruiz’s mother, Clarissa, is a piece of work. She can be described as malicious, arrogant, and callous; with one objective…to destroy Ruiz. Everyone has a breaking point and Ruiz struggles for survival caused by guilt.
His Paris Affair is the third and last book in the series “Albury Affairs”. Unlike the other two books this may be the hardest to read as a standalone. Readers, not only do I recommend His Paris Affair, but also the entire series. The first novel I read by Christina OW was Her Venice Affair and from there I couldn’t get enough. The series is addictive.
