Alpha Male Incorporated is a contemporary paranormal romance. Thorsten, a sexy vampire millionaire, has found his “unique” human female, Raya. However, he must change his arrogant and egotistical ways, or Raya will never fall in love with him.
In the beginning of the story, Raya loathes Thorsten because he has conspired with her brother to take her family’s company. Nevertheless, Thorsten is turned on by her fiery attitude and ambition. Deep down, Raya knows that Thorsten is someone special; however she keeps denying it. In fact, Raya doesn’t even know that Thorsten is a vampire. By day, Raya and Thorsten have clever verbal battles, but at night Thorsten watches over his destined mate and speaks to Raya in her dreams.
If Thorsten can’t get Raya to fall in love with him, he will go into the “sleep of dead”—a state that happens if one’s destined mate doesn’t agree to mate for life. Thorsten attempts to woo her and in the process he falls head over heels for Raya and becomes very protective over her. However, Thorsten has a big problem. Cordelia, his vampire ex-lover, is jealous and wants him back. She is determined to kill Raya before Thorsten can turn her into a vampire and have her agree to be his mate.
Overall, the storyline was hot. I enjoyed the “Alpha-ness” of Thorsten. I really liked the way he pursued Raya. However, the dialogue could have been a bit better. I appreciated the smooth flow of the story. Raya was a likeable and ambitious female. The sex scenes were creative which took place in the couch and the park. It had a satisfying ending. I would recommend this series.
