It’s Friday and you probably have plans of some sort for the weekend. Maybe a date or meet-up with friends or family. Maybe you don’t plan on going out. Maybe you plan on staying in. You’ll probably throw in some errands and even a nap to round out the weekend.
Regardless of your plans for the weekend, if you are anything like me, you will have one regret come Monday morning…Your plans as well intentioned as they were kept you from starting or finishing a good book.
I know it’s irrational, but I have this thought at the end of almost all of my weekends. It’s not that I don’t enjoy time with friends and family, or curling up with my hubby. But in my mind all of those things would have been better with some book time worked in. I’d like to believe that I’m not alone in this. So in an effort to help out the book loving masses I’ve decided to start “Book a Date”. These posts are meant to help you sneak in some time with a good book. It is also a sly way for me to recommend more books 😉
Check out the books below and book a date with a good read.
