Charlotte Jones and Jake Ross are two people that when you come in contact with them you can feel the fire. Jake needs to get him image in order and Charlotte just wants to lose weight. They both thought they could handle this agreement (how? I have no clue.) They exemplify the title ‘Crazy For You’.
Jake has been in the media so much that his endorsements are at risk so he must clean up his act as soon as possible. His volunteering efforts are paying off because he gets to see Charlotte and watch her hips move while she teaches dance class every week. An accident at the center allows Jake to gain even more access to Charlotte. Once he charges into her life and tells everyone he’s her boyfriend their adventures begin.
Charlotte is dealing with her own personal turmoil. Trying to lose weight so she can improve her health has landed her in the hospital. She’s always thought Jake was cute, but now she will have him by her side to help her reach her weight goal. Knowing how her grandmother died, she is pushing herself to lose weight and be suitable for her family. The pressure of not being skinny is taking its toll on her self-esteem.
Crazy For You Deals with some emotional aspects of life. How well are you taking care of you? This was a good book, truly enjoyed. It sort of made you do some self reflecting while reading. Pay attention to the words that you say to your loved ones. It’s okay to be unique and different. I am looking forward to the next book by this author.
