A chance meeting with Reba Harris not only ignites the hope of passion, but an innate need to protect her. Opening his heart again is risky, as outside influences loom, threatening to come between him and Reba.
With drama following them at every turn, Frank and Reba are asked to do an unexpected act of kindness. How will they fight off forces working to keep them apart? And will they make the sacrifice required to change their lives forever?

In Baby I’m For Real you get to take a look inside the lives of Frank Bass and Reba Harris. These two characters are mentioned in previous works by Suzette Riddick (also known as Victoria Wells.) Life has dished out some turmoil and heartbreak when it comes to Reba and Frank, both of them have learned to deal with the aftermath and choose to still live life.
A chance encounter brings these two together and the sparks begin to fly. But they are both cautious about relationships due to their own previous encounters. Meddling friends and a trip to the hardware store are no match for Reba and Frank.
Reba is one of those woman who has been dealt a harsh reality after she finds out that her daughters father is married. She proceeds to raise her daughter to the best of her ability. Reba’s character is able to take one mistake and turn it into a blessing. She doesn’t hold her past inside but chooses to live life to the fullest. All of her hard work pays off.
Frank is still getting over the death of his wife and unborn child. Business as a private investigator is going well but he can still feel that something is missing. Frank is one of those characters that you just love and you try to be patient and wait to see if he will get his own book. Now that he has his own book, I see why we had to wait. Frank is that dude!! He’s a man’s man.
These two have gone through so much in life that I kept yelling while reading that they better make it as a couple. Their past comes back to haunt them, a new child comes along but through it all they fight (literally) to stay together.
Love Suzette Riddick’s work. She takes real life situations brings them into happily ever after but makes you think about your own life while reading. You may have never gone through what one of her characters has but you sure do know someone that has. Now I’m just wondering if JJ is going to get his own book….
